Make these adorable Vampire Croissants for your little ghouls!
We have a lot of sleepovers and the girls always love seeing what I come up with for their breakfast board, so since it's so close to Halloween I thought this would be a cute and easy for their sleepover breakfast. The pictures here don't match the video that may have brought you here, because these are my second batch but didn't change much except I didn't have peeps for ghost, so I used these smaller ghost marshmallows (they are so good)! The only heating part is melting the chocolate but that is completely optional. Here's what you need.
Croissants
Whipped Cream
Strawberries
Blueberries
Chocolate
Marshmallows and
optional ghosts
These are a breeze to put together, just cut the croissants in half and fill with whipped cream. Next you'll cut your marshmallows in half diagonally then in half again diagonally to get that triangle look. Add your teeth to the bottom croissant, cut your strawberries in half for the tongue and place it between the teeth. Now melt that chocolate, I use Ghirardelli milk chocolate because it melts perfect every time and it taste like chocolate should (in my opinion). I poured my chocolate into a piping bag so it just comes out a bit but use a spoon or whatever works best for you, add a bit to hold the blueberries into place and the drizzle over the vampires as you wish. The more drizzle the better the kids would say. Now if you want to add a little ghost or something else on here just use a toothpick to hold it into place. I added more strawberries to the board because well lets try to be a small bit healthy! Add some halloween sprinkles, any will do but these ghost ones just worked great for this.
I brought this up to the girls and they ate it in about 5 secs they told me, so next time I'll have to make two each. Happy Halloween!!
Have fun the Halloween and please tag me in your photos when you make your own Vampire Croissants.
